The unique Brittain Ashford recorded the CD “There, But For You, Go I” in her bedroom on toy instruments. It was released in France by the Paris based Waterhouse Records. Having followed the April, 08 release with a French tour, she is gearing up to hit the west coast of the U.S. with stops from Seattle, WA to LA, CA through the month of August, 08.

are gearing up for a long string of shows all over the west coast this fall.
They're aggressive junk percussion alongside old-time banjo and bluesy slide guitar tones topped off with earnest vocals. Check out Hillstomp, some of Portland's finest Punk-Americana, when they come to your town. They just got done recording two new songs, "Satan Is Real" and "Old Plank Road" at MastanMusic Studio with Jeremy Wilson.

are a funk/soul/hip hop group from Portland. Their new CD, "The Manimals" was recorded live at the Bitter End Pub April 18, 2008. Flexing a powerful rhythm section, they stick to the basic elements of funk - sexy and danceable grooves. Portlander's can check them out at the White Eagle, Twilight Room and The Bitter End in the coming weeks.
